Third Grade Supplies

Back to School Supplies for Third Grade

2007-2008

Dear Parents / Guardians,

We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning with your child in third grade. In order to be prepared, we ask that your child come to school on the first day with the following supplies:

Medium-sized pencil box or bag with a zipper

c

Several No.2 pencils

c

16 pack of Crayons and / or colored pencils

c

Several erasers

c

One Highlighter

c

One red correcting pen

c

Glue sticks

c

One Dry Erase marker in your choice of color

c

5 Pocket folders with 3 prongs of various colors (red, green, blue, yellow and orange)

Please Note:

* DO NOT purchase Trapper Keepers as they are too large to fit inside the students' desks.

* Binders are also not needed as they may be distributed by each individual teacher in the
fall.

* All supplies must fit into the pencil box or bag in order to avoid having a cluttered desk.

* You may want to buy extra of the abouve supplies to keep on hand at home and send to school as they are needed.

You may also want to have some poster board (oak tag) on hand for projects that we will be doing during the school year. Our school will provide an assignment book. We appreciate your assistance in helping your child be well prepared for the third grade.
