On behalf of the faculty,
staff,
and students of the Robert B. Deibler Elementary School, it is my pleasure to
welcome you to our website! I hope that you find our website to be interesting
and informative.
Our school is one of seven elementary schools in the Pennridge School District, which is located approximately 30 miles north of Philadelphia in Bucks County, Southeast Pennsylvania. We serve children in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and have an enrollment of approximately 500 students. Our students will attend North Middle School, which opened in the Fall of 2007, for Grades 6-8 and Pennridge High School for Grades 9-12.
It is our mission to provide a safe and caring learning environment in order to develop tolerant, independent, responsible, and respectful children who treat others with compassion and dignity. We aim to ensure that all students strive to achieve their personal best, both academically and socially.
As a faculty and staff, we are committed to a proactive and instructive approach in which we strive to continuously model, teach, and encourage positive behaviors. Our goal is to foster positive interactions that will facilitate a learning environment conducive to instruction. As a result, we have a "Good Deed" ticket program in place. Faculty and staff members are encouraged to recognize students who exhibit appropriate behaviors by issuing "Good Deed" tickets for such things as cooperation, respect, effort, responsibility, sportsmanship, or any other positive behaviors observed. Students receiving "Good Deed" tickets turn them in. Prizes are awarded to lucky students who have their "Good Deed" ticket drawn at a school spirit assembly or at the end of year awards program.
Similarly,
our "Wall of Fame" bulletin board recognizes students who are on the
Honor Roll, have perfect attendance, or who have demonstrated improvement in
any area. Our "Student of the Week" bulletin board, "Student
Recognition" section of our monthly newsletter, The Deibler Dateline, our
"Read All About It" bulletin board, and the "Student Spotlight"
portion of our regular school spirit assemblies, are just some of the many ways
we honor students for demonstrating positive behaviors.
The Robert B. Deibler Elementary School enjoys a wonderful reputation as a school whose faculty and staff are focused on doing what is best for each and every student. We are fortunate to work collaboratively with parents who eagerly support our efforts and who are actively involved in the education of their children. As a result, our students come to school motivated to learn and with a desire to take advantage of everything our school has to offer. Their interest and enthusiasm inspires all of us on a daily basis to provide the type of challenging educational program that students deserve. It is truly a pleasure for me to be a part of such a warm and vibrant educational community.
Thanks so much for visiting our site and giving us the opportunity to share information about our school. If I can be of any assistance to you, or if you have any questions about our school and its programs, please contact me at 215-257-1146.
Yours in education,
